WORLD! Yes…these posts are long overdue (well only a few days) but I’ve been a DIY fool as of late when it comes to distressing a great pair of jeans *bows*.

So a few quick tips for you as you go thru the dip-dye process:

-Take a look at the pair of jeans you wish to dip and understand the colors. If it is a pure black or an ash grey for instance, it will come out to a pure white if dyed completely. If it is an indigo blue, it will dye out a green or yellow.

-Understand the look you are going for. The yellowish-green for example, was a “fold and press” style dip. You fold as you would if you were putting in the drawer, and you dip on each side and press down.

For the pair with the ripped pocket, I did a twisted dip dye, where I twisted the bottoms of each pant leg, banded them and dipped them.

-Don’t be afraid to experiment. I did that on a pair of Abercrombie and Fitch Worker jean sI bought for $3 from Marshall’s three years back and look at how they turned out here!

I hope you all have had fun revamping the clothes into something new!
