Fashion-2-Go: Thursday Morn

Gazing over a snapshot developed from my novelty obsession, it brings me to what I wanted to deliver to you on yesterday.

Beyond the fact that my life is majority stop and go, I am now being presented with more opportunities to advance in certain areas of my life, and I cannot complain nor can I fully explain it all really…As it is hard to find the words. But… as I transition, I will say that not everyone is comfortable with change. Be it with age, work, love life, body change is inevitable, and you have to be ok with that: NOT your current situation.

I wanted to post this look, later as apart of the lookbook, but I know I will not have the proper amount of time, however I wanted to let you know as well, that as you transition and others are stagnant, do not be moved by what they have to say. It will be negative, expect that. NO: you did not ask them for their opinion, and no they will not pump-fake on the great things that are in store for you.

KNOW, when it is time to move on and act on that positive flow of energy.

Alas, in regards to this outfit, I am wearing my thrifted union skirt, along with my oldschool fave, cropped v-neck oversized tee, and a pair of my beloved suede fishscale peep-toe booties, in Camel.

There was also a question of my beauty routine for this past week, and I will say even though it looks like a lot, its def not. My fave product to date: Makeup FOREVER’s Mist & Fix. I buy a full bottle, and pour some in the travel bottle for when I know I will be moving around. But, these are the players in this week’s 5 minute Routine, minus the BB Cream, of which today was from Garnier. The eyeshadow pencil and bronzer are both from wet n wild, concealer from Pixi, blush from Be A Bombshell Cosmetics, eyeliner pot from Mica Beauty, and pencil from Urban Decay, Mascara from Maybelline, primer from SMASHBOX and serum from Le Metier de Beaute, and eye primer (how could I forget) from BH Cosmetics.

Not only has this been your Fashion 2 Go, but your Mid-week Inspiration, and your 5 minute routine update!

Love you all, thank you for reading.

#EucerinUS: New Year New Skin Resolution

Posted by

Well for those of you who wish to make better better habits in the new year, why not start with a new skin, new you attitude?

Happy New Year! This year, our resolution is to help our fans jump start their skin’s metabolism.

Did you know that the foods you eat, amount you sleep and level of exercise activity all have an impact on your skin? Here are some tips to get your skin’s metabolism moving in the New Year:

o   Swap your white bread with whole grain options to help support healthy looking skin. Whole grains help make skin firming collagen and elastin!

o   Make sure to add Vitamin C rich foods, like broccoli and citrus fruits, to your shopping list in 2013. Vitamin C can help your skin neutralize free radicals.

o   Exercising can do more than trim your waistline; it’s also good for your skin. Increased blood flow from physical activity helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to your skin cells

o   Many people vow to eat healthier in the New Year, but doing so can also help impact your skin. What do carrots, sweet potatoes, and squash have in common? All are high in Beta-Carotene, which promotes cell turnover and growth while protecting the collagen in your skin.

o   Rest up!  When you sleep, you allow your skin cells a chance to regenerate.   Do you get 6-8 hours of sleep each night?

5 better on the better for Asia?

- Continuing to incorporate more kale and spinach in my diet, being that of fiber rich, and Vitamin C as well.

-Keeping my white bread addiction at bay (I LIVE for bread).

-Trying out this thing they call sleep.

-Continually hydrating my body. My normal intake of water is 2.5-3 liters on average, and towards the end of the year I slacked SO terribly. KNOW the difference between thirst and hunger! Eating on a dehydrated body will throw your body out of whack and your metabolism off.

- Relax!

What FIVE resolutions are you making for a healthy metabolism and glowing skin in 2013?
